The Arctic Hideaway – Fordypningsrommet Fleinvær is a one-of-a-kind cluster of minimalist cabins on a remote island in Gildeskål, Northern Norway – designed for deep rest, creative reflection, and meaningful time off-grid.
An hour by boat west of Bodø, far out to sea, you’ll find this visionary retreat – eleven small buildings carefully placed from hilltop to shoreline, offering a rare invitation into a raw and precious landscape.

The Arctic Hideaway was designed in close collaboration with Norwegian architectural firms TYIN tegnestue and Rintala Eggertsson Architects, under the direction of founder and music composer Håvard Lund. The result is an award-winning retreat, a space where architecture, landscape and purpose meet.
