The Art of Pausing – An Evening with the Founder of The Arctic Hideaway

The Art of Pausing – An Evening with the Founder of The Arctic Hideaway

On Thursday, May 22nd, FOGG invites you to an evening of reflection, creativity, and conversation in our Oslo store – with special guest Håvard Lund, composer and founder of The Arctic Hideaway – Fordypningsrommet Fleinvær.

What is The Arctic Hideaway – Fordypningsrommet Fleinvær?

An hour by boat west of Bodø lies a cluster of minimalist cabins on a windswept island. Known as The Arctic Hideaway, this award-winning retreat is a rare space designed to foster stillness, focus, and deep creative renewal. Built in collaboration with TYIN tegnestue and Rintala Eggertsson Architects, the project is globally recognised for its architectural purity and poetic purpose.

What you will experience Thursday May 22nd

Håvard will share the story behind the Hideaway, its origins, and the values that shaped it. After the talk, FOGG’s Frøydis will join him for a conversation about creativity, time, and the courage to live and work with intention – especially in the North.

The FOGG – ARCTIC HIDEAWAY Value Card

As part of the event, FOGG is launching The FOGG – ARCTIC HIDEAWAY Value Card: a new way to give or book a stay at this unique place, now available through FOGG.no. Each booking comes with a complimentary FOGG wool hat – a tangible reminder of your pause.
